Patrick Pigeon
Clinical Research Associate
Patrick is a registered psychologist through l’Ordre des Psychlogues du Québec. He completed his master’s degree (M.Ps.) in clinical psychology in 1988 at the Université de Montréal. He is a Clinical Research Associate at the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) at the University of Regina and currently involved withinternet-delivered cognitive behaviour therapy for public safety personnel. Patrick has recently retired from the public Health system in Quebec after more than 30 years of practice. He worked in Northern Quebec (with namely the Naskapis and Innus), in the Gaspé peninsula and in the greater Montreal area. Over the years, he held different positions in home care, child psychiatry, youth mental health and adult psychiatry. Since 2010 Patrick has also run a small private practice, offering services to adults struggling with different issues (adjustment disorder, depression, PTSD and other anxiety disorders).
