Cheryl Hymus-Fraser is a registered Social Worker and completed her Master of Social Work from the University of Windsor. Cheryl has been working with individuals and families in the human services field for over 18 years in several provinces in Canada, as well as the United Kingdom, and has over a decade of experience providing individual and group counselling to adults and youth. Cheryl uses a strength-based and trauma-informed perspective to support individuals in areas of anxiety, depression, self-harm, addiction, trauma, grief and loss, and relationships. She has additional training in Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Cheryl uses a person-centred, collaborative approach to help individuals identify and work towards making positive changes in their lives.
